I am writing this to you all as a very very thankful and appreciative patient. I am 62 years old and try very much to take care of all of my health needs and after being your patient for a while now, I can really tell that all of you care, really care about my well being also. I am so appreciative of that caring! There are times that when I am in one of your chairs and you are taking care of my needs, I can feel your care so present, I just want to get out of the chair and hug all of you!

I like to read a lot and lately I have read some good articles on dental health and how very important it is and that is some of what I feel from you all is that what you do for me is meet those dental health needs. Again, thank you all so very much!

I had not been to the dentist much during my childhood and teenage years. I would probably still be avoiding the dentist chair if a broken tooth had not begun to hurt so much that I could barely even get out of bed. I looked in the phone book and had a hard time finding a dentist open on Fridays, not to mention the weekend. Then, I saw Dr. Dick's advertisement. I called the number and was told to come in tomorrow (Saturday). Dr. Dick and his wonderful staff have taken great care of me, fixing the problem tooth with a post and beautiful new crown. They have all helped me to get my teeth and gums in better condition. I say thank you to Dr. Dick and his staff for always providing a pleasant experience in what could be an uncomfortable situation.

Dr Dick and I went to Chattanooga High School together in the middle sixties. We were not in the same class, however, he and my brother were. I knew that I needed a lot of dental work and I decided that I wanted Dr Dick to do it. I talked with Dr Dick on the phone on my initial contact with his office and we chatted about the old school days and who we knew and what they were doing. It felt good. Dr Dick was remodeling his office during my treatment. We talked about his new lasers and how advanced, easy and painless the new technology made things for the patient. Actually, there are twenty or so new and different technologies unique to his office. I can tell that Dr Dick enjoys helping people improve their health and smile. It's like seeing a new construction project develop and having pride in accomplishing something that works well, looks good, is reasonable in price and that people appreciate. I can see that Dr Dick stays on the cutting edge of things in his dental field and that makes him happy. Now that my mouth is in order, I'm sure that my health is better; I couldn't be more pleased with my new smile and I can definitely chew better. I appreciate the special courtesy extended by his office in accommodating my busy schedule.

To the wonderful Dr. Jim Dick and staff,

I can’t even begin to describe the joy you have put back into my life.  For five years I have been dealing with embarrassing dental problems, broken and missing teeth, and bad decay.  Growing up I was always told how beautiful of a smile I had and then I had to stop smiling because of how ugly it had become.  I would cry almost everyday when I would look in the mirror and my self-esteem took a nose dive. I was so embarrassed and scared that I didn’t want to go to the dentist.  After my oldest son, who is five, started to make remarks about my teeth I finally made the call.

At the first visit I cried and you all set me at ease and comforted me letting me know it would be alright.  Little did I know at that time my life would forever change.

You all have taken such great care of me, even wiping my tears when I cried.  I have recommended you to everyone I know and meet.  What I thought would be endless pain wasn’t at all. My son loves to come see you and even gets mad that he doesn’t see you more often.  I love my new smile and everyone I see remarks about how great it is.  Everyone at my work has come back to my department to see it, even the plant manager.  I proudly tell them you gave it to me.  My self-esteem has grown by leaps and bounds.

One of the most impressive qualities about all of you is how much you care.  The way you explained every detail and gave me several options was fantastic.  Also the patience you have had with working with my finances.  Your office is truly one of a kind and the best in my opinion.  My life has truly changed forever because of you.

I can only hope that each one of you read this and can feel the joy you have given back to me.  You all are wonderful people and the best at what you do.  Thank you so much.
